Weren't you defending Chauvin who literally murdered a dude on the ground? She was a thousand times more of a threat than Floyd was, especially since she was part of a mob, and there were like a hundred insanely high value targets just a few dozen feet from her.

I don't think you realize this, but her being a 14 year veteran actually makes it worse for her, not the other way around. She knows better. She knows to stand down if somebody is threatening deadly force, and she knows she was actively violating her oath to the country by being a part of that mob. This isn't Snowden attempting the proper legal channels and then going public as a last resort. This is treason, so fuck her. Oath breaker.

When your targets are Senators and the Vice President, the standard is not that the person attacking is using deadly force. However, a mob smashing through a window definitely presents the threat of deadly force, so that's still a losing argument.

Floyd's drug usage is totally irrelevant to this conversation. Fact is, Chauvin murdered Floyd while he was prone and in handcuffs and had him outnumbered 3 to 1. Ashli was part of a mob that had the officers outnumbered by a factor of at least 10, assauling the capital building with 100 or more high value targets, and was warned multiple times before she tried to push through the door.

If Chauvin didn't murder Floyd (which he did, ya know, unanimous jury and all that) then Ashli wasn't murdered.

and if a veteran storms the capital like that again, I fully support the death penalty as punishment for treason and oath breaking.
