Who here believes that the hourhis have the means to make cruise missles?
If Yemen’s getting Iran's Latest playthings, you better believe that hezz is getting more. The longer Israel waits, the more powerful these countries become:

The IDF says a “suspicious aerial target” from the direction of the Red Sea that struck an open area near Eilat early Monday morning was a cruise missile.
Yemen’s Houthis claimed responsibility for the attack.

No damage or injuries were caused.
According to the IDF, the missile was tracked by the Air Force throughout the incident.

The IDF says it is further investigating the incident.
It marks the first time a Houthi projectile hit Israeli territory. In previous attacks, missiles and drones launched from Yemen struck neighboring countries or were intercepted by air defenses.

Remember how 5 months ago I said the only logical outcome would be a DMZ surrounding Gaza, which would still be full of millions of Palestinians?

to be fair I was figuring Israel would abandon its border kibbutz and build the buffer strip in its own territory, or maybe just annex the north part of the gaza strip along the edge that was mostly empty
instead they reduced a wide swathe of it to rubble and are building the dmz inside gaza and then built a strip to cut it in half and flattened the rubble there

I don't remember tbh but seems right.

Do you see an escalation with hezbollah? What I am hearing is there may have to be due to pressure of removing the Israelis along that northern border.

Honestly I didn’t think that my gov will have the balls to do so.
But that’s exactly how we should deal with security issues, Middle East style.
They don’t care for human lives.. but to take away territory.. that’s hurtful.

Israel pulled some troops to the hezbollah border yes but after 5 months I think its safe to say hezbollah isn't going to join the war and doesn't feel a pressure from the lebanese people enough to be existential to force their hand. That all points back to the original assessment that Iran didn't have anything to do with the oct 7th attack and didn't want a direct regional war and will restrain their proxies. Most likely outcome is just trading more rockets/airstrikes across the border without any major operation. I mean, if Hezbollah doesn't want a war now, it would be stupid for Israel to escalate and fight a hot war on two fronts.

I don't think it's Hezbollahs choice.
Disagree with Iran angle. They 100% wanted to spoil Saudi Israeli normalisation.

Palestine is just a pawn for the Mullahs. Any semblance of sympathy for Palestinians is false.
Not from Iranians but from the Iranian regime

Everything I said is happening.
I said the IDF will cut the Gaza strip to pieces I thought it will be more than 2 (not done yet)
I said the dmz will be inside Gaza and not on the Israeli side.
I said Israel will not stop unless they surrender and return hostages.
European countries are already flooded with cultural enrichers
Thats why we hear those voices…

Israel will not stop until Hamas members are either dead or surrendered
And hostages returned.

As the war continues I’m coming into realisation that we cannot really win. Not in the sense we like.
The reason for that, again - my opinion only, is our dependency in the US and other European countries.. but mostly in the US.
So when the US wants to interfere, they can. And they are entitled to since they are paying for most of the stuff we are using.

In the upcoming 20 years I’ll very much like to see our country become more nationalist and producing more Israeli made arms. Our dependency in others should come down to minimum.

Winning to me is the complete surrender of the opposing side after he got struck down to its knees and lost territory. They should very much like to engage in peace agreements coming from their side and not some UN suggestions etc.
