I made it through the Bush years when Fox News was gospel to way more than it is now and people were way less likely to put up a fight against the oppressive and war hungry right

gonna be a cakewalk for me but to those that haven't gone through this sorta thing before it's gonna feel rough

and I'll probably only have to deal with 4 years this time around unless the Dems run someone that can't take out someone with approval in the teens (leave it to the Dems to actually do it though)

Elizabeth Warren and the end of the Democratic Party for 12 to 16 years.

Trump is starting out at what? 40% approval in his honeymoon phase?

He is still being a dumbass and appears to have no plans to change that

he will be in the teens when he is replaced in 4 years. Dems might not even be able to find anyone unlikeable enough to lose.

Why are you going off approval rating? Same as going off the polls. If he wants eight years he'll get eight years. As long as the media and the democrats keep playing their games the democrats are doomed.

Clinton barely lost with piles and piles and piles of baggage and Comey's screw-ups and the Sanders effect

Trump won't have the benefit of the doubt next time

He will have 4 years of swamp filling and Republican nonsense that even moderate Republicans don't like

He will probably be against a much more likeable candidate without the baggage Clinton had

Is it possible he turns 4 into 8? sure

will it be significantly more difficult round 2? I'd say so

Clinton lost by a landslide in the electoral vote. She didn't even have a leg to stand on in this race it was a massacre. Holding on to the popular vote to say it is close is utterly ridiculous. If Trump does a 10th of what he has promised it's over for the democrats. As for the whole approval rating it's non sense also. I live in a rural area and there is no bad talk, but there is hope and a far stronger voice for trump than what was before the election.
