Up in a couple, tied in a couple. As always, it's pathetic to leap to every single bit of polling data. I tried to teach EA7 that lesson, but he wouldn't post here while Clinton was up in every single poll. :(

He's actually not up in a couple, or tied in a couple. That USC/LA-Times thing that dumb people occasionally quote isn't a poll; it's a panel-poll hybrid that takes the worst elements of both and the best elements of neither.

Trump is still behind in this race considerably, especially at the state level. Clinton's overall national lead is around 5.5 points, which means occasionally some outlier is going to find Trump leading by 1 or 2 points to offset the several polls that have her leading in the mid-to-high single digits.

If the 2012 election is any indication then Trump being up by 2% means clinton is up by a few. They actually underestimated Obama's lead last time, so that kind of flies in the face of your echo chamber.

This ain't 2012.

Trump has already won.

The hildebeast is going to prison.

Lock her up.

Lock her up.

Lock her up.

http://www.politico.com/story/2016/09/new-clinton-benghazi-emails-227813

I don't expect this to get any further coverage since it doesn't fit the convenient "Hillary Clinton is baaaaaaaad" or "this raises serious questions about Hillary Clinton's trustworthiness" templates employed by the political press, but Judicial Watch's Benghazi-related fishing expedition turned up absolutely nothing, to the surprise of absolutely no one who has actually followed this. Lazy media personalities breathlessly "reported" on how the FBI recovered thousands of "new" emails that had previously not been submitted to the FBI as part of previous State Department submissions, without somehow making people aware of the fact that most would either: 1) be personal in nature, so they wouldn't be relevant (and crucially wouldn't be subjected to the FOIA), 2) would be copies of previously-seen emails that WERE submitted, 3) completely innocuous, or 4) worse for Republican critics of Clinton, would actually exonerate her from their ridiculous accusations or conspiracy theories.

So the first batch was released. Only 30 were deemed "related" to Benghazi at all, and only one of them was not previously produced. And worse for Clinton's critics: it was a flattering note that was sent to Clinton by a diplomat, praising her for her 2013 testimony before the Senate panel. 2 other emails were deemed "near duplicates." This perfectly encapsulates why this entire thing is just one big nothingburger; the idea that this is some big issue is just laughable.

Her dying and giving us President Kaine sounds just awful, please no

Tim Kaine would make an excellent president; we'll be very fortunate if we get him as Vice President and then he's able to run for the White House himself. I hope to see him serve as president after Clinton gets to serve for one or two terms; I don't know if we could do better than Tim Kaine as president for the time that we live in.

hey buddy thanks for another fucking laugh!!!

And yes the guy who is a sanctuary city denier is a great choice, for anything other than President. A position more up his alley is leader of the "I Hate Americans" band of village idiots:

When asked about sanctuary cities in a recent interview, Kaine answered that Trump is going after “phantom sanctuary cities” Host Chris Cuomo asked Kaine what he meant by “phantom,” and Kaine explained his experience as a mayor and governor in Virginia in deciding not to participate in a federal immigration enforcement program.

hahahahahahha even Cuomo had to tell him he is full of crap (and an anti-American bigot)

Quote (CHRIS CUOMO)
But why do you say "phantom"? You know that there are places that refuse to cooperate with ICE, and they have their assembly of different reasons for why they do it, but sanctuary cities are real. They exist. They're not phantom

I don't know what to say to this; it's just babbling. Kaine very clearly articulated that Trump's silly "policy" regarding sanctuary cities amounts to a bait-and-switch attack on local law enforcement.
