Gastly already said that Nazis probably even killed more people too. Somewhere around 10-15 million iirc died in death camps only, and plenty more died in war. In the end, the Nazis managed to do all that in a few years. Do you know how many deaths are attributed to Stalin or Mao Zedong?

No I don't. They might have killed more people in that time span, but the aggregate deaths are higher for Christianity.

I suppose. My point is that the Crusades weren't some random, isolated series of attacks, they lead directly back to Muslim conquest. I just think most people ignore this fact (or just aren't aware of it). Usually at the same time they're criticizing the violent history of Christianity to try to defend Islam.

Read up a little on them. You'll see that it's not religion per se, that causes people to kill each other. It only facilitates it by numbing moral pain. Secular agents used methods like dehumanization and so on.

But the poll had Christianity as a choice. There needed to be more clarification to what they exactly mean by the cross....

You know, this thread is kinda like a bunch of people arguing about which type of cancer is worse. Christianity, islam, spaghetti monstahs, butthole cancer... oh my.
