It was the single most undemocratic thing the democratic party has done since the Jim Crow era ended, and these are the guys that threw a black man in prison on charges of sedition for organizing a political protest.
Its entirely the onus of the party and electorate to decide which candidate to run. The time to choose between Biden and Kamala was during the primaries. The only excuse for changing after the primary would be if Joe was incapable of running, perfectly forgivable reason if he was dead or incapacitated. And instead they wanted to have their cake and eat it too, insisting Joe is competent and capable but simultaneously yeeting him off the ticket and replacing him with a DEI hire. Disenfranchising the millions of people who voted in the primaries. We complained in 2016 that the DNC rigged the primary by putting their thumb on the scale for Hillary- letting her puppeteer the party apparatus- but here they didn't bother with pretense. Just shoved shit on voter's plates and told them to eat up

Incumbent parties worldwide have been losing regardless of their party due to the economy / inflation. I.e. Conservatives in power in the United Kingdom were heavily voted out, with primary reasons being inflation and the state of the economy.

Democrats passed the Inflation Reduction Act, about $900bn and with added 87k more IRS government employees to payroll. Yet it rises and rises.
