Sam Brinton was arrested at the Minneapolis St Paul Airport. For bizarrely walking up to the baggage carousel after a flight where he had no checked bags, and stealing some random woman's luggage. He then tried to hide the woman's clothing inside the drawers of his hotel room to cover up the evidence, and traveled around europe and back to the DC still carrying that same piece of luggage and claiming it was his. And then when questioned by investigators he first lied and told them it was really his bag with his clothes in it, then broken down and a few hours later called back to admit he lied and stole her bag.
He's charged with felony theft and facing his first court hearing on December 19th.


Even though there were all kinds of mainstream media articles featuring this guy when he was nominated, somehow Liz Collin's alpha news is the ONLY outlet in the entire country who noticed that this guy has been arrested and charged with a felony

I'll remember this whenever the usual lefties criticize the appointees of Trump, or some other future GOP president, as unqualified and/or temperamentally unfit for office.

when I pointed out this guy being hired in the first place, my observation was that as the worst kind of diversity hire, he was uniquely unfit for his job because nuclear engineering has fuck all to do with waste disposal which is a purely political question, and governors of transit states wouldn't even be willing to be pictured in the same room as this god forsaken abomination. Believe me those are the tame pictures, I'd probably get a 10% posting his public kink. It was a pretty good barometer for how unserious Joe Biden was about green energy, because nuclear waste disposal is a serious political issue hamstringing our cleanest and safest energy source. It would be like if a republican president opposed to mitigation nominated a child molester to be his EPA czar.

I can't speak definitively for the Green Movement in the US, but here in Germany, they are categorically opposed to nuclear energy. And from what I can tell, the hard core of climate activists in most other countries feel the same way. Essentially, these people are not actually interested in a "technological solution" to global warming which would allow us to continue our "decadent" way of living. Imho, the Green Movement has always been about more than just decarbonization - combating climate change is just a front for their true, hidden agenda: anti-consumerism and global wealth redistribution.

In this light, nominating a uniquely unfit creature for this position, a guy whose very being is detrimental to his mission, actually makes a lot of sense. Brinton was a perfect way for the staffer in the Biden admin who's responsible for nominating him to score woke points and sabotage a climate solution that he must ostensibly support.

the anti nuclear movement is proof that its an anti human and anti modern world movement (with multiple motives behind it) as no sane person would oppose the only baseload power resource with no emissions

the nuclear waste debate is also outdated as if we were living in the 70s or 80s, modern reactors can use what is called "waste" until not much is left

the good news is that true progress will always win, thats how the world works
