All we knew in the past few hours is that Paul Pelosi was attacked by someone armed with a hammer and searching for Nancy Pelosi and waiting for her return when police arrived, enough to know the attacker was not particularly competent since she's in DC. Suspect was identified as David Wayne Depape of San Francisco. People are digging up any internet history of him right now, but its clear that he's been mentioned repeatedly as a "nudist activist" in san francisco.
