As much as I don't like it. I don't see a path to victory for Trump anymore
Like he's teetering on Florida and Arizona, and while I think he'll win those states, he just doesn't have a path to victory right now. Especially considering he probably is going to lose North Carolina. I could be generous and give him Iowa because it's like dead even in the most recent Quinnipiac poll but that has a slight Republican bias which leads me to believe he's a little behind there. So I give that to Hillary and Quinnipiac has Trump down 4 in North Carolina which is devastating. Without those two states it's probably 293-245 Clinton wins. If Trump gains some momentum and can grab Iowa and North Carolina, and it's very possible because they traditionally go Republican, it'd still be 272-266 Clinton. I just can't see where he'd get another state from there. And that's already being generous and giving him North Carolina and Iowa. If I'm being harsh he could still lose Florida and Arizona though.
I'd say if all those things happens and he gets to to 272-266, his only chances are in Colorado where there hasn't been a ton of polling done but most recent has Clinton at about +2... or New Hampshire where Clinton is +5 right now, however Kelly Ayotte is doing pretty well in her senate race which could mean it's trending red but we'll see. She is one of the bigger names to revoke her Trump endorsement so judging based off of her race could be pointless. Possibly Virginia or New Mexico I guess but neither of those states have come close to going Republican since 2004. Virginia kind of close I guess but Trump is polling terribly there.
What a mess. I entirely regret ever being okay with Trump as the Republican nominee if he can't pull this off. Literally anyone else could've wiped the floor with Clinton. But Trump is matching her tit for tat with bad headline after bad headline.
