Not quite - they are identified gang members thanks to their tattoos, but none have been duly convicted in court of murder (its more or less impossible). Most are most likely murderers, but many of them are likely not. But it doesn't matter, because they were a willing part of the murderous gang syndicate. It's the same principle with the Palestinians, they are willingly a part of a similar murderous government

Plus they didn't get terms, in El Salvador it's a straight life sentence with 0 chance of escape, unless some new Marxist leader takes power
