when you say "trump/desantis" is it one of them or both of them running together? ^_^
Doesn't matter, either of them or both on a joint ticket. Although I doubt that a joint ticket is gonna happen. Trump is a "you shall have no other gods before me"-guy who's constantly paranoid about others stealing his spotlight. With him being term-limited and DeSantis being the presumptive GOP nominee for 2028 in such a scenario, these two would be at eath others throat in no time.
From the other side, DeSantis would be a fool to take Trump's VP gig. He saw first-hand what Pence's thrall-like loyalty to Trump got him - Trump scapegoated him and gave him the boot as soon as Pence was no longer useful to his own ambitions. If he can't be the nominee in 2024, it's much smarter for DeSantis to serve out his second term as FL gov and then start preparing his presidential run.
