There is a compromise on what to do about the terrorist's children, but people are so brainwashed in this day and age that they dare not speak it.

Letting the children go is obviously not an option, as it simply leads to Hamas 2.0 in 8 years who are more radical and pissed off than the previous generation. Euthanizing the children is an okay option, but it is inefficient and leaves psychic harm on those who carry out the act. Historically this was solved by using an executioner who had the mental fortitude to carry this out as a day job, but there are too many for 1 executioner to take care of by himself.

The best option by far is to enslave the children and spay/neuter them. You keep them under strict control, you house them and feed them, they get to stay alive and engage in meaningful work for the rest of their lives in repayment of their debt to Israel. Win-win for every party

For vast majority of human history once puberty hit you were considered an adult, it’s only until the recent last few centuries that a post puberty teen was still considered a child.

A fair amount of child victims in Gaza are actually combatants. Some brainwashed, some fully understanding what it means. When half the population is under 18, safe to say some of those teens are either Hamas recruits/younger brothers of Hamas members and so on.
