Twitter suspends accounts of journalists working on Elon Musk.

A "worrying" decision, according to the EU

European Commission Vice-President Vera Jourova called Twitter's action "worrying" and warned the social network's boss, Elon Musk, that there would be "soon" "sanctions" applicable within the framework European legislation. “Freedom of the press must not be turned on and off at will,” also reacted the German Foreign Ministry, on Twitter. "For this reason, we have a problem with Twitter," added German diplomacy.

In another tweet, the French Minister for the Digital Transition, Jean-Noël Barrot, said he was "afflicted by the drift into which Elon Musk is precipitating Twitter". The Minister of Industry, Roland Lescure, for his part announced "suspending all activity" on the social network due to the suspension of journalists' accounts.
