The article only reinforces my thinking. Hamas being defeated is a foregone conclusion at this point, it's just a matter of when. I still believe that the events going down in the ME (mainly Iran supplying the weapons trying to kill you) are more important to Israeli security than anything happening in Gaza. Hezbollah has been destroying major Israeli military sites in the north for too long and some point the focus has to shift to defeating hezb and the Tehran pipeline.

This situation has expanded to mote than just Gaza but most pardinians can't put two and two together (not you or many names)

And Israel killed over 200 hezbollah members ruining their structures in the north while they aim civilians house.

Like whitesound said you have no idea what you are talking about

ignoranus :bonk:

Is it okay to throw your entire family to jail if you dad is criminal?

The comparison is not accurate. The children of Gaza are taught from a young age the exact same jihadist bs their parents believe. They're taught from a young age to hate Israel, that Israelis are their enemies, that death in the fight against Israelis makes them a martyr, which grants them instant access to paradise. Thus, the more accurate comparison would be, "Is it okay to not only execute the serial killer, but the children of the serial killer who have been trained to also be serial killers and believe that is the right and just thing to do?"

But to take it another step further: It's war. The Gazans, in their attack, proclaimed themselves the enemies of Israel. They targeted civilians, including women and children during the October 7th attack. They raped women and children to death, then paraded their bodies through the streets as a sign of victory. Why is it your position that an enemy who does such should be treated gently? Were I Israeli, I wouldn't be much concerned over the children of Jihadists. I'd only be worried about my own children, and the fact that if I don't stop them, the Gazans will eventually attempt to rape, torture, and murder my children as well.

However, as an American? I just watch, entertained, as jihadist apologists attempt to justify the actions of Gaza, while condemning the counterattacks from Israel. It's funny to watch. Jihadist sympathizers all around.

Lol

Are you actually excusing the killing of civilians (including children, babies, mothers etc)? hahahaha If so, your moral compass is upside down mate. You probably should stick to gaming instead of sharing your "wisdom"

Harsh truth: There are no civilians in war. You think there are, but there aren't. "Civilians" are the people who provide food and equipment and medical supplies to the soldiers, as well as conscripts when more soldiers are needed. Targeting of the infrastructure (including civilians) that support the soldiers is standard, and routine.

Nobody is "excusing" anything. Gaza attacked Israel and killed thousands of Israeli "civilians" during a ceasefire. They set the terms of engagement. There are no "rules for thee but not for me" in war unless you're a fool. :)

There are no civilians in a war? :bonk: Harsh truths exist... but this isn't one of them.

Who provides weapons, ammunition, equipment, food, clothing, medical care and supplies to soldiers? That's right! Civilians.

You draw a distinction between non-combatants and combatants, and that's why you're a fool. The combatants cannot remain combatants for very long without the support of non-combatants.

Target the non-combatants and infrastructures that support the combatants, pretty soon the combatants run out of supplies and can no longer maintain engagement.

Your insistence on calling those who support the jihadists "civilians" and claiming it's some big bad that they're suffering is stupid. If they want the suffering to stop, perhaps rather than shielding Hamas, they should rise up and overthrow them. Assist the Israelis, rather than cheering on and supporting Hamas in their endeavors to wipe out the Israelis.

Part of the issue here is everything you believe about war is filtered through your moral valuations. I don't view war from a moral stance, merely a strategic and tactical stance. War itself is immoral. Sometimes it's necessary. For Israel, October 7th made it clear that no matter how immoral, it IS necessary, as Hamas will NEVER stop targeting them for extinction.

Hahahaha ok then, I'm a fool for thinking civilians exist
And purely from a strategic view, Israel will not be any safer after the war. It will probably have the opposite effect (eg Israel-Lebanon). Not only will it lose support from the west and sympathy from people all over the world, it will also see higher amount of terrorist attacks.

Seriously? Israel won't be any safer after they wipe out Hamas? You're joking, right?

Since you think in small terms, let's personalize this for you: You have 5 enemies who are attempting to kill you. You kill 1 of those people. Are there still 4 people trying to kill you? Yes! Are you safe? No! However, are you "safer" only facing 4 enemies rather than 5?

It's very simple math, friend. And your claim that Israel will lose the support of the West is not born out by any evidence. The West has always been split on the Israel issue, but foreign aid, weapons development, and defensive systems (like the Iron Dome) have continued unabated for most of the nation's existence.

Attempting to say, "Well, but this focus on Hamas makes it so that Israel can't fight Hezbollah" is stupid as well. Israel has been fighting Hezbollah for years, and continues to fight them, even as they dig the jihadist rats out of their tunnels in Gaza. Eradicating Hamas simply removes one threat, and once they're wiped out entirely, they WILL be safer, as there'll be one less organized enemy attempting to murder them.

Do I have to explain common sense to you?
Couple hints:
* it is nearly impossible to wipe out Hamas! (I let you figure out why that is)
* Oppression will always create extremist groups.
* Israel is only facing 5 enemies because of the way it handles the Palestinian issue.

You should be able to connect the dots.

You appear to be lacking in common sense.

1. Hamas is currently being wiped out. Wipe out all the militants and those who support them, dig them out of their tunnels and collapse/fill in the tunnel system, destroy and seize their weapons caches, and you pull the teeth of whoever moves into the gap to raise the jihadist battle flag.

2. Oppression is not required for Jihadists to attack Israel. Israel has been under constant attack since it's founding. Killing the attackers and everyone who supports them does help to insure they don't attack again though. Corpses tend not to be very dangerous.

3. Israel has more than 5 enemies, and they've had more than 5 enemies for the entire existence of their nation. They're used to fighting on multiple fronts, in fact they're one of the best in the world at it.

Your understanding of both military strategy and the geopolitical situation in Israel is pretty lacking, friend.
