All Americans can rest assured that if Trump had been successful in overturning a valid election, void would post that he was disappointed Trump had succeeded. But he wasn't successful, so let's pretend it didn't happen.

A recount wouldn't have overturned a valid election. A recount would have just solidified that win. Haggling over when ballots should be accepted is also hardly some grand master threat to democracy it's something to be decided in courts, publicly, like it was.

Pretty crazy that this is what being anti-democracy is about in 2021.

I know you don't follow the news, so I'll suggest you go investigate what efforts Trump took to overturn the election. And I'll also point to his rhetoric now, as well as the effort in Arizona to survey an election that has already been investigated.

Let me inb4 you though. The answer from you is going to be that Trump is just blowing off steam, he needs some time to process his loss, and all Americans should just get used to the idea that the losing presidential candidates will drag it out for years because they are too immature and insane to accept reality. And we should accept this new standard because Trump is a demented crybaby whose supporters can't contradict.

We had people literally storm the capital and plant bombs in an attempt to disrupt the confirmation of our election. "What exactly is so threatening about this?" is really the question you want to ask after that?
