You speak as if this happened in a vacuum. We’re responding to a country that openly threatens to annihilate us and has actively built weapon of mass destruction to do so a country that funded and mobilized the ‘ring of fire’ surrounding us Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, Iraqi militias, and local terrorists in Judea and Samaria. But of course, you already know that your biased, perhaps even racist, perspective just prevents you from processing it honestly

When I started reading your response, I had to do a double take. On October 24th, 2023, UN Secretary-General António Guterres said: “It is important to also recognize the attacks by Hamas did not happen in a vacuum. The Palestinian people have been subjected to 56 years of suffocating occupation.” I’m glad to see you quoting Guterres — it’s a quote that has certainly stood the test of time. The second time I read your response, I realized that if I removed the second part, it could easily be something said by someone in Gaza living under Israeli terror. I wonder if that was subconscious.

Regarding Israel and Iran, I agree Israel was provoked by Iran over many years, and I think attacking Iran after the October 7th Hamas attack was a logical decision from an Israeli perspective, especially given Iran’s decades-long use of asymmetrical warfare against Israel, for historic reasons. I just dont understand why Israel stopped. While you believe its Job Done, from a neutral perspective it would appear that Israel is seeking a new leadership in Iran, one which will pursue nuclear weapons.

About bias — this isn’t about bias. It’s about actions and their consequences, something I’ve tried to explain to you before. Actions have consequences. When a minority in Gaza is blockaded for decades, when people’s lands in the West Bank are taken, and when responses are often disproportionate — with airstrikes on civilian populations for decades, not to mention the flattening of Gaza — those actions create real feelings and reactions. While you may choose to ignore what those actions cause, I do not. It’s simple cause and effect. If Israel and the US weren’t so hostile to Palestinians and Iran all the time, we wouldn’t be in this situation today.

Also i commend you on walking the fine line between personal attacks and disgruntlement. I would reiterate again, if you dont like my responses to you, stop quoting me and ill reciprocate. you know, tit for tat.

Israel is no threat for its neighbors... as long as they don't do anything which goes against Israel's strategic interests. If they do, all bets are off.
I agree with Israel cleaning house in Lebanon (Hezbollah), Gaza (Hamas) and Iran (nuclear program, IRGC), it was the right thing to do and I support Israel's action in this regard.
