It's like you're obsessing about some video you saw on the internet (of which there are billions of videos on the internet) and can't seem to square that information up with what most people would consider to be common sense.

I'm on vacation for another week, so if you're thinking that you are accomplishing something by wasting my time, I regret to inform you that I am fully aware that I am wasting my time... I'm actually doing it intentionally because my career is a lot more high stress than this and I always wish I had more time to talk about important things like politics.

One of the key problems with the republican party is the fact that it is a "big tent party" that is comprised of people with different political goals and ideologies.
