I actually watched that exact TED years ago and she isn't talking about Wikipedia. There are companies that produce fake "scientific journals" which have dozens of fake blogs discussing them and all sorts of other nonsense. I've personally seen it.

I agree with what she was saying at the time, Wikipedia went through a phase where it had many corrupt editors.

I'm confident that they have gotten that sorted out by now and I will remind you that every single change on Wikipedia is permanently archived by the wiki software. You can read all of the changes ever made to any post on there.
