china has stated they've arrested over 13,000 militants in Xinjiang since 2014, and there have been 78 attacks during that time.

if you're naïve enough to believe that means Chinese police are so good that they've prevented thousands of attacks you're beyond help.

just think about those numbers. if ur allowed to.

I never said the Chinese police are good .
That is their policy.

My government arrested a lot of so called " communist " in my country en mass and our country's population was only 2.5 million in the 1980s.
One dude was arrested under ' detention without trial ' since 1970s and only released in the 2000s.

But most people around the world even in the United States and it is a bipartisan sentiment that my country is very very good . ^_^

tbh im not sure if you're generally evasive or if it's a translation issue.

it seems like you agree that forced abortion and sterilyzation are bad, and you dont support them.

do you support the Chinese govt arresting 13,000 people? and do you think 13,000 is the real number?

1 vs. 100,000+

Makes you wonder why people would think one is worse than the other.

In China, you can’t say these words

https://share.america.gov/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/winnie_spot-1.jpg

What can’t you view or talk about in China? Here are just a few examples of words and phrases that are currently or have been censored by Beijing.Chinese flag behind Winnie the Pooh with black tape over eyes (State Dept./D. Thompson)

Winnie the Pooh (小熊维尼) — Chinese internet users use images of Winnie the Pooh to represent President Xi Jinping.
Baozi (包子) — Steamed bun. One of Xi Jinping’s nicknames online.
Dalai Lama (达赖喇嘛) — The Tibetan leader in exile. A symbol of Tibetan independence.
Tibet Independence (西藏独立) — Talking about independence for Tibet is forbidden.
Soviet Jokes (苏联笑话) — Mocking the Soviet Union is considered making fun of communism.
Go, Hong Kong (香港加油) — Support for the pro-democracy protests in Hong Kong.
709 (709律师) — A group of human rights activists and lawyers arrested on July 9 (7/9), 2015.
Liu Xiaobo (刘晓波) — Nobel Prize-winning human rights activist imprisoned by China.
Great Firewall of China (伟大的防火墙) — Discussing Chinese censorship is itself censored.
Dictatorship (专政) — Suggesting or saying that China is a dictatorship is forbidden.
Tiananmen (天安门) — Any references to the 1989 pro-democracy protests that ended in bloodshed.
June 4 (六四) — The date of the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests.
Zhao Ziyang (赵紫阳) — Former general secretary of the Chinese Communist Party who supported the 1989 Tiananmen Square demonstrations.
Tank man (坦克人) — The famous image of an unidentified Chinese man who stood in front of a column of tanks in Tiananmen Square in 1989.

No I don't
And I am not sure if the number is real. But I am not saying that it isn't.
It takes a lot of effort to detain 13,000 people and out of 13,000 people who were supposedly arrested , how many were released on day one or the first week and how many were actually detained for the longest time.
I don't talk about things that I do not have evidence .

And forced sterilization is bad because it is a human right whether you are an idiot or genius to reproduce.

That being said my government have a controversial sterilization program in the 1980s but it wasn't forced , it was encouraged with incentives.

That is subjective. And also depending on where you live in the states.

It's not. If their government gave them a taste of the level of freedom we have in every state, they'd revolt.

We are not an Anarchist country because we have laws. The majority of local citizens elect officials that draft and pass laws for their communities. Citizens also vote for certain laws directly. I live in rural Idaho and I have certain rights that the majority of citizens voted for and enjoy here. The majority of California's citizens voted for the opposite. That's one reason why Federal law always supersedes state law. Sometimes, states take it too far.

This is very simplified because people are more complicated than the following...

Hypothetically, you are a high ranking Chinese government official.

Anarchist country: I could go to your home and murder you with a gun with zero repercussions.

Free Country: I'm still free to go to your home and murder you with a gun, but I'll face consequences if it can be proven. I'm presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Communist Country: I could still go to your house and kill you. It will be harder to do because the Chinese probably doesn't allow just anyone to have a gun. They also slaughter me and probably my family too with no due process.

They do not have anywhere near the same level of Freedom that i do.

China: Media freedom declining at 'breakneck speed' - report

Quote
Media freedom in China is declining at "breakneck speed", according to a report by a group representing foreign journalists in the country.

The report by the Foreign Correspondents Club (FCC) of China said journalists there face physical assaults, hacking, online trolling and visa denials.

Local journalists in mainland China and Hong Kong are also being targeted.

China has labelled the FCC an "illegal organisation".

It comes as the world's media turn their attention to the Beijing Winter Olympics, which is already under scrutiny due to alleged human rights abuses in Xinjiang and a crackdown in Hong Kong.

The report found that foreign journalists are being harassed so severely by the state that a handful of correspondents have left mainland China. Others have been forced to come up with emergency exit plans as a precaution.

Chinese colleagues of foreign reporters have also faced intimidation with authorities harassing their families, the report said.

Other reporters such as Australian Cheng Lei and Chinese national Haze Fan have been detained for over a year over allegations of being involved in state security cases.

"Continued zero-Covid policies, staffing issues, rising geopolitical tensions, growing mistrust, and at times outright hostility towards Western media in China create a perfect storm," said one editor quoted by the report.
