If you ask some conservatives they might agree that the current USA government might just be a tad more tyrannical than the Chinese when it comes to child grooming from LGBTQ+.
The Chinese don't have that issue.

That being said, please note that if you want to compare both countries. One is a third world developing country which some of their civilians were eating field rats 30 years back.
While the other is a first world military and economical power house for the past 40 to 50 years and have been enjoying KFC and Mick Ds for a long time.

You ask the entire Western World if China is Tyrannical , they might say yes, but that is your narrative.

I ask my business partners and my friends in China, they will tell me the government are assholes and over doing the god damn lockdown, but they are not tyrannical.
Should I listen to the words coming out from your mouth or media or should I cross over the border from Hong Kong to China and ask them what they think.

you could look at what defines tyranny and then answer which govt does more things characteristic to a tyrannical govt. but we both know what the answer would be.

And if you want to put it in the manner, China is very far down the list compared to Middle East Some countries in Africa and even Russia...
