It makes me wonder, among many other reasons, why the Democrat Party has any claim to be an advocate for American citizens when it always seems to be Republicans who make tangible efforts to confront predation visited upon them by big business? You would never see a 2022 Democrat opposing a blatant incursion on personal liberty, property, privacy, etc. That's more of a 1990s Democrat thing.
