I can't comprehend how people fail to use logical sense, U.S and Russia have been neck and neck since WW2, and fear of war with each other has been the biggest threat to both nations.
USA has always had respect for Russia and it's power, along with the power of it's nuclear arsenal.

Idk where this stupidity that Russia isn't even a threat anymore to the US and Ukraine can take them on in a war without a problem and that Ukraine is somehow winning easily came from.
It's like USA invading mexico, conquering half the nation, and south american news claiming the mexicans are winning. A war like that is 1-sided.

It's part of warfare, just on a different level. Both sides try to raise the morale of troops and ofc regular citizens to continue and support the means. Average joe neither has the knowledge nor the brains to grasp the situation they are in. (ie Russians still think they are winning with like 500 casualties, NATO-citizens think Russian bombs can't even fly, since they can't even win agains Ukraine)

Russia didn't make the preparations to be able to capture Ukraine in an appropriate timeframe and will loose if everything stays the same. Ukraine will get nuked 100% in that case. People just don't understand how persona in power think and that the ends justify the means, even if it leads to huge losses on any side. They be like "whatever"
