Some of them certainly support those things but Republicans are fairly diverse. There are populist Republicans who are against all of those things but still believe in the peaceful transition of power. The delineation was adequately described by Biden I think.

A Trump supporter is someone who likes Trump's policies, may even like his personality, and voted for him. You can be all of those things and acknowledge that he lost. You can be all of these things and support the democratic process. Hell, I have friends and family who fit that category. MAGA Republicans, on the other hand, are what Biden described. Having a single label that encompasses all of those adjectives is convenient and accurate.

The 2nd quote sounds like someone who would say the following: And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

Awe, someone got a firmware update.

Nice speech. You said that. Biden did not.
Biden specifically went with "MAGA Republican", which everyone and their mother immediately identifies as synonymous with "Trump supporter"

LMAO.

Dude, the former president tried to do a coup against the incoming administration. Those Trump farts must cause some righteous hallucinations.

Sure he did, his heavily armed junta seized the palace and held everyone at gunpoint as he declared himself emperor for life and dissolved parliament. They did so at his explicit direction as he ordered his militias to seize the opposition and bring them to him bound and chained.
Back in reality, capitol police failed to do any riot control against a mob who wandered aimlessly through the capitol taking selfies, Trump told them to fuck off, then left office as he was supposed to. Odds are if he had actually been taken to his rally like he wanted to, he would have been able to keep them under control in the first place.

^ there's your "coup".

I see plenty of histrionics and wild exaggerations and intemperate language from both sides, militant conspiracy theories in support of totalitarianism that need to be called out and shredded. That's a reason to call out and shred those conspiracy theories, its not a reason to endorse totalitarianism and militancy. "Lock up your political rivals" wasn't a good look when Trump said it but its even worse when Biden actually does it.

Democratic politicians calling for or supporting action in favor of civil rights is not a scandal. The fact that you put them in front of burning buildings does not make it a scandal.

Yes, in the backwards Trump-world you live in, the Vice President of the United States following through on the policy of the US government to pressure Ukraine to oust a corrupt prosecutor is some NWO plot to install the Jews or whatever.

Here in reality, we view the Obama administration's effort to rid Ukraine of corruption as good, and we view the current POTUS trying to hold onto power in the aftermath of an election he clearly lost as bad(meaning Trump holding onto power after he lost to Biden).

This is why calling you semi-fascist shouldn't be seen as beyond the pale... it's almost polite.

Biden explicitly said that MAGA Republicans are a minority in the Republican party but they have outsized influence. Trump got the VAST majority of Republican votes so your statement is incorrect. As I said before, it's crystal clear to a neutral listener. The only people who WANT to conflate the two are hardcore partisans (i.e. Democrats who think all Republicans are bad or Republicans who want to paint themselves as a victim).
