I am not sure about stock prices and how it works, what will happen to chip stocks if China does that.

Let's observe first whether they want to "save face" or intend a real blockade. What will happen? TSMC won't be able to deliver chips. They make 1/3 of all chips in the world and 80% highend ones. IPhones get their chips there, Nvidia and AMD, too. All GPGPU chips are produced there.
