agreed on all except the witcher, which i find to be a great adaptation of the books.
The world feels so small in the show. The books, from my recollection spent a significant amount of time travelling place to place which developed out side characters significantly better than the show does, like Yappen for instance.
The show makes it feel like you can just portal everywhere and there's no developed structure to the world map. They almost need an into like GoT. GoT nailed world building just off the intro, you could feel the distance between landmasses and then the show made it feel like you were travelling across them. Once they got to the last seasons everyone had issues with it felt like they were just teleporting around to speed things up and it made the world feel like shit.
That's where I am at with The Wither. The world / kingdoms themselves don't feel at all developed and it makes it worse by use of teleporting around skipping a lot of dialogue from the books that took place during the adventure of to and from.
The best not fuck up Regis.
