Today Xi and Nancy were competing whose jade rode is harder. The first round belonged to Pelosi. But no everything is lost and simple Donetsk worker respect comrade Xi, increase social rating, have catwife and show main square light-agitation.

it is the national congress in October where they select and vote within the party and amongst the 100 million party members who they want to lead the next 5 years.
Just to let you know there is a lot of infighting.

It is exactly like Republicans versus Democrats within the party.

Isn't it also about allowing Xi to remain Chairman of the CCP indefinitely, i.e. without any further time limits (like "5 years")? From what I've read on the subject, if Xi wins this vote, he will be China's leader for life.

The congress already passed the law in 2018.
But that was still fairly new and the Hong Kong Protest came in.

By 2020 he is fairly stable in his power that is why he touch the big fishes in Macau. Which kinda screwed up my business.
But.....with the recent Nancy Pelosi case, the property market bust and the Henan bank crisis , things might turn out to be a little different, there is a slight chance he might not get his third term.

Xi Jinping is not Putin.

There is 3 powerful fractions in China.

The Tsinghua Clique and princeling Clique which Xi belongs, the Tuan Pai which Hu Jintao and Li Keqiang belongs and the Jiang Faction.
So it is not as easy to really control China unlike Putin.

If shit hits the fan, powerful politicians from other fractions will make their moves.

If he continues to be in his position, my current business will only have a lifespan of 8 to 10 years.
If other factions wins depending on who , my business lifespan will extend another 10 to 15 years.

If American wins in the upcoming conflict and destabilize China my business lifespan will be extended another 30 to 40 years.

from my very western perspective i have to ask do you think it requires US action to destabilize china? specifically given the reports were getting about the impending financial crisis that's coming with regards to banks locking down, real estate and mortgage crisis, etc. Obviously long run we could act to stop them "catching us", but short run they already seem on a path to destabilize, i just dont know how accurate the reports we're getting are.
