Isn't it also about allowing Xi to remain Chairman of the CCP indefinitely, i.e. without any further time limits (like "5 years")? From what I've read on the subject, if Xi wins this vote, he will be China's leader for life.
The congress already passed the law in 2018.
But that was still fairly new and the Hong Kong Protest came in.
By 2020 he is fairly stable in his power that is why he touch the big fishes in Macau. Which kinda screwed up my business.
But.....with the recent Nancy Pelosi case, the property market bust and the Henan bank crisis , things might turn out to be a little different, there is a slight chance he might not get his third term.
Xi Jinping is not Putin.
There is 3 powerful fractions in China.
The Tsinghua Clique and princeling Clique which Xi belongs, the Tuan Pai which Hu Jintao and Li Keqiang belongs and the Jiang Faction.
So it is not as easy to really control China unlike Putin.
If shit hits the fan, powerful politicians from other fractions will make their moves.
If he continues to be in his position, my current business will only have a lifespan of 8 to 10 years.
If other factions wins depending on who , my business lifespan will extend another 10 to 15 years.
If American wins in the upcoming conflict and destabilize China my business lifespan will be extended another 30 to 40 years.
