Sure hope the Russians don’t hack America and delete everyone’s student loans man that’d be so destabilizing yknow. An rejection of 1 trillion dollars among some heavy hands. Would be just the worst. Awful.

In hindsight, it was a huge miscalculation by the West to not either build up Ukraine's military capabilities or to nudge them toward "Finlandization" where they acquiesce to their role as a politically neutral buffer state that constantly minds the interests of its big neighbor and makes sure not to provoke them.
