Biden publicly announced a week ago that Trudeau should do whatever he can to get the situation under his control. Biden basically ordered for this to happen.

funny to hear some people online cry about this just a year after calling for Trump to have the military overturn the election and seize all of the equipment from voting companies without warrants or even proof of wrongdoing.

How are the two situations related in any way? The election wasn't overturned. And the voting machines were given back, so there was no property damage incurred.

Some people are fine with authoritarian actions that do not follow due process if it's in line with their biases. Others are more principled people who want the official channels to handle things in a fair and honest way.

I don't support Trudeau making this into a spectacle, and I didn't support Trump trying to convince people to refuse to certify the election or throw Pence under the bus and try to strongarm him into pulling funny business at the EC. Thankfully Trump was less of a strongman than blackface Trudeau.
