I generally feel the same way on principle but I'm willing to make an exception depending on efficiencies. Is it more efficient to have a minimum wage so that the government has to do less or does it make more sense to have the government handle more of the burden?
I like Ben Carson's idea. Just assign the minimum wage to a discrete value like the CPI and that way we can stop talking about this simple issue.

This view is not entirely grounded kn reaility. It costs a few cents more for a bigmac in denmark with employees making 2x what american employees make along with benefits their american counterparts can only dream of.
Denmark is different from America, they are 90+% white and have much less crime and abuse of the system as a result.
The real question is "How much better would Denmark be if they didn't have shitty welfare schemes that don't work?"
