Many trans people are outcasts in their society and treated horrifically.
The murder rates of trans people is also higher than that of slaves.
One of my good friends is not even trans.. just gay enough to stand out..
He has been assaulted at least 6 times in the last 3 years, and the police have declined to even look into it.
