I like this line of thinking, because it highlights how capitalism has been tooled to screw everybody over. You have a choice between participating in capitalism or starving. There's basically nowhere else to go in the entire world. Now, that's not to say that means you have some inherent right to enforce your economic system on everybody else, but it is to say that the idea that capitalism allows choice is fundamentally false.

This is a natural feature of fascism, aka the government "allowing" private ownership and private business, but dictating how that private ownership or private business can interact.

I disagree that it "does it but worse". That's only "true" because we have been conditioned to separate capitalism from its atrocities, but the opposite for communism.

If the trail of tears happened under communism, you'd use that as a strike against communism. but it happened under capitalism, so nobody is going to say "capitalism did that". Like, all capitalist countries basically genocided natives simultaneously for 200 years and they aren't counted because of this training to separate concepts.

and just to prove my point, I encourage you to do some research into those "communism killed X people"numbers. They tend to include things like Nazis killed by Russia in WW2 as "casualties of communism".
