It's a genuine question because increasingly it seems that you'll deem any source as untrustworthy if it comes from a media outlet, government institution (CDC), or even a hospital network. Thus far, according to your posts, the only source of information that you've found to be trustworthy is online webforums.

There's no snark.

Alright.

No, I will not trust something from webforums just for being from a webforum. I will trust something when I can reasonably ascertain that it came from an average person. But since webforums are the only places existing where the average person can have a voice, then yes, you can say that I tend to trust sources from webforums.

He's an anti-semite, which is why he doesn't trust any source.

Assuming that I am an "anti-semite" (btw, is this your favorite smear-word?), what does that have to do with me not trusting any major sources?

Alright, get ready for a heavy dose of my tinfoil hat, since you asked:

I think the governments of the Western world want their populations to be vaccinated because these vaccines most likely will cause infertility. And please don't ask me for sources, this thread is about politics, not science.

When you go to other, non-western countries, the situation is quite different.

The conspiracy that the vaccines cause infertility is based on an amino acid sequence that is like 4 pieces long, in proteins that are thousands of pieces long.

If proteins could recognize that kind of similarity life as we know it would be impossible. This is one of the easiest conspiracies to debunk, and since it's relatively fresh it's pretty easy to trace it all the way back to the source.

I'm not saying this in a judgy way, I'm stating it as a fact. If you believe the infertility conspiracy is even plausible then you are fundamentally incapable of determining what sources are reliable and which aren't, and should fundamentally rethink both your worldview and your method for determining reliability.

I believe JessiWan is a woman, and I assume goes by 'she'.

We actually have very good ways to estimate how many people would die. The mortality rate among people who get covid but can't get treatment is about 2%.

Your precious source of news could very well be lying to you.

If you had been paying attention at any time during the past 18 months you would know this, but you're not actually interested in learning. Just preaching conspiracy garbage.

In other words, anytime someone says something that contradicts with your world-view, it's all "conspiracy garbage".

Take the covid vaccines, I implore you.

Not unique to this post specifically, but this is a genuine issue in todays political climate, and its frustrating. Not finding agreeable sources of information and what can be considered as "truth". Often which, you get the typical (completely meaningless response) of "do your research". And most people that say this are basing their opinions on a TikTok they had watched earlier that day.

Do you feel that the CDC is a trustworthy source of hospitalization data?

I work at a major medical school with a bunch of labs that are actively researching Covid and physicians who are leaders in their field treating Covid. I get my information about vaccine safety directly from infectious disease experts and epidemiologists.

I get virtually none of my information from non-primary sources, and even less from people who aren't experts in a field directly related to what they are talking about.

If you are still arguing science with me, it tells me that you can't read. I have stated multiple times that this thread is 90% political and only 10% science.

But apparently you feel qualified to lecture me on "rethinking worldview". EL OH EL.

You attribute the j's to evil therefore since they occupy the top spaces in many domains, you immediately assume that the source is corrupted and has an ulterior motive .
