that's a stupid thing to think, they still would have. and in most cases did know, because his Fent tox screen was public knowledge early in the case and was known before the riots on the police precinct and downtown of Minneapolis afaik.
you tend to pretend minorities are violent animals, but then later pretend they're rational and acting only on media misinformation. these types of logical mistakes are the result of your conflicting biases against minorities and the media. changing agency depending on whom u wish to criticize is bad form.
coverage of Michael Brown assaulting a store owner that he just shop lifted from was available day of his death or so, riots still followed.
THe media coverage was deceptive and disproportionate. Its obvious that it was done for ratings and with disregard to the effect it would have on society.
The fair thing here is to have the major media companies go bankrupt so that our society can become a little bit safer.
Its also true that riots don't happen in Republican cities because they use enough force to smash down rioters.
