The ones who control capital benefit greatly from the stratification of society into classes, which is why they use taxes and inflation to manage the system into an administrative class and capital slave underclasses. The government could have Bezos executed and all of his assets seized and nationalized at any time and there is nothing Bezos could do to stop it. The same goes for all of you. They could simply monetize the debt and eliminate most wealth through currency expansion, and no mechanism on earth could stop them.
