False. YOU claimed that those who've been vaccinated can still transmit the virus. That claim has no data confirming it, and neither the WHO or the CDC has confirmed it, specifically because there is literally no data to support it. The closest we have to a case study would be Israel, as by percentage of population, they're currently the most vaccinated with the most transparent reporting of numbers. And their cases have floored, all while they've removed outdoor mask mandates and reduced and/or removed indoor mandates depending on type of business. You can feel free to stop lying any time you wish. It'd probably lead to a more productive conversation.
Desperate? Listen mate. You're the person demanding that others wear masks when you don't know the first thing about masks, how to properly wear them, or what impact they have. The bottom line is that when properly worn, surgical masks can prevent up to 60% of passage of the virus. Meaning every breath out you're still going to be exhaling the virus into the air. The hope isn't that it prevents the spread, it's that it'll reduce the viral load to a point where people's immune system may be able to fight it off so they don't get "infected" and develop the Covid "disease". And all that is based on properly wearing masks, aka the same exact protocols followed by doctors and nurses. Which means the first time you touch that mask to adjust it with your filthy hands, you've just fucked it all up. It also assumes you're not wearing the same mask day after day, dooming yourself and everyone in your vicinity to the consequences of a clothe petri dish. Once again, you do not know what you're talking about.
I do not need to convince you. Merely point out that you're throwing out a lot of claims that you have no evidence for. You don't know the science in any way, shape or form. You don't know the dangers of using the same mask for days on end. You aren't willing to pay for the masks you claim other people should wear. You don't promote the vaccine that is rated at 95% efficacy, but instead continue promoting policies that've led to over 157 million infections and 3 million deaths.
You may as well stop talking about responsibility. You've not even shown that you're responsible enough to look up the basic information regarding what you're advising prior to attempting to offer medical advise. You lack any form of responsibility whatsoever, and are in no way qualified to dispense medical advise.
I'm not asking you or anyone to wear a mask. Im saying the responsible thing to do is wear one.
That's why I wear one. When its appropriate to do so.
I also don't wear a mask for days without washing it or getting a fresh one. That's basic hygiene.
It appears you have more issue with the authority of mask requirements than the actual wearing of a mask.
I know that because all the excuses for not wearing one are so thin of logic.
They gather germs. Yes. So does everything. Your phone. Your toothbrush.
I have asthma. So what? It doesn't interfere with your oxygen levels. It doesn't increase Co2 retention.
I have the vaccine. You can still transmit covid.
It's my body, it's my choice. Thats great. It is still the responsible thing to do, to wear a mask.
So conversely not wearing one by choice, for no valid reason other than a exercise of choice is irresponsible.
The benefits of reduced transmission outweigh the excuses that I've heard so far. Not even slightly, but considerably.
That is supported by experts. Without masks being mandatory, an exponential amount of more people would have caught covid.
