same answer as "when did many people you know get hospitalized for the flu". i probably know 1 dozen or more people who were hospitalized or had to seek treatment for c19, many of them not even elderly. i dont know anyone on a normal year where that happens. the guy who sat next to me at work died from c19, i dont know anyone under 80 who has ever died from the flu.

but sure, keep denying reality because only a small number die, even tho many more die than a normal flu, it transmits way easier than a normal flu, has worse complications than a normal flu, etc.
