first, if the virus were floating around on its own, that might be true, but its not, its carried by droplets that can NOT fit through.

secondly, even if it did go through, ever spray water at a screen? sure, some goes through, but its a whole lot less than if the screen werent there.

I'd rather just see who survives and get it over with if all we can do is slow the spread and not actually stop it. We are wasting too much money at this point.

droplets are not a solid so the pumping action of breathing is going to suck or blow that droplet right through that mask carrying the cootie right along with it. there is no scientific data that a masked people fare better than unmasked people. in fact unmasked people have less problems because they are not governed by a coo coo.

it used to be sensible. if you had to cough or sneeze you did it in a paper towel or something and then throw it in the trash. But nowadays your supposed to sneeze and cough into your mask atomizing the droplets even further so they can be carried farther on the air currents. Whats left in the mask you get to keep wearing it on your face. sounds real smart?

Slowing the spread means hospitals don't get overwhelmed.

If the hospital ER and ICU beds are full and you get into a car accident, you're screwed. If your mother has a heart attack, she's screwed. By allowing it to just spread you end up dooming hundreds of thousands of people who need ICU care that is totally unrelated to Covid, in addition to all the deaths from Covid. Then you get into the fact that like 5% of people are having permanent injuries and it just gets worse.



You're a man of evidence. Show me evidence that it's "atomizing the droplets even further" by wearing a mask, because we have actual evidence including high speed footage and masks are superior to just covering your mouth in every way when it comes to droplets.
