Climate change is real, you deny it or not.
And it doesn't mean it will be 2 degrees warmer.
It means there will be 40°C summer and -40°C winters. Much more, and more powerful hurricanes, blizzards, heatwaves and droughts. Rising sea levels will turn the coasts (where most of humanity lives) into swampy mosquito and yellow fever ridden areas. And not just yellow fever, but every tropical disease will knock on your door, what you call now "Just some third world country shitplace plague" will be the very reality for most of you...
