Trump’s shooting himself in the foot as usual. Biden’s not doing overly well, however his bar is set way lower, & Trump’s going to mask that, he’s way too aggravated

Oh absolutely. Debates are wholly worthless to deciding who's position is better. This is just infotainment.

Unfortunately this hasn't always been the case

In person debates have pretty much always been pretty bad, unless they're super drawn out over days. Debates that are public facing have always been worthless.

It's the elderly, serious statesmen vs an insane, evil person. So with those two choices, yeah, I'd love to have Biden in office.

I will say, I more understand his appeal to people like InsaneBob, who aren't capable of looking beyond surface level on anything. Trump comes off good if you have gone out of your way to avoid any deeper knowledge, but if you even scratch the surface he's a buffoon.
