Some countries did better than others. The U.S. is, at best, in the middle of the ranking for dealing with this crisis and more likely in the bottom half of the worlds responses. Which is garbage tier considering our level of wealth compared to the rest of the world.

South Korea was the gold standard. They got their first case the same week we did, were closer to the source, and still handled it far better than we have so far.

Trump having a unified effort would have greatly improved our performance, but instead he constantly contradicted himself, downplayed the importance of the response, in some cases actively stifled testing to avoid increasing the number of confirmed cases. No leader would have likely been better than Trump's leadership, because his decision was often to contradict the governors who were actually making an effort to reduce spread.

So deranged we are playing golf and tweeting while death toll reaches 100k and keeps climbing.

Trump is the president, and therefore since he has a position of authority the level of accountability he has to face goes down. That's just how conservatives work. Have faith in the powers you support and don't contradict them, because the more authority they have the more they are like God, and it's a sin to contradict God.

Yet they did not share this view with Obama.


You see these live videos of reporters interviewing trump supporters using the excuse "because he is the president!!" "he can do what he wants!!" "We should all listen to him because he is the president!!"

But say Obama- none of those things hold true.


A good clip on fox news where they asked a legal analyst about this dumb thing Obamagate and the analyst says, well, there is no crime because according to trump the president has article 2 and can do whatever he wants, investigate whoever he wants, and talk about whoever he wants. The fox news host quickly went to commercial.

Everyone jumps to pointing fingers at Trump but fail to talk about all the governors who completely butt fucked their states during this.

They want people to die because it is the only way Biden will win. It is fucking sickening.

Governors nationally have a better approval rating on their coronavirus responses than trump does. This is americans saying that they think their individual governors did a better job than trump.
