at this point you're just deliberately misinterpreting what i'm saying, because you don't WANT to get the point.
this is about demonstrating the parties and a new generation of politicians that there is support for a new way, that you can win (even against massive and coordinated opposition from literally everyone in power: the party, the media, and the corporations behind both of them) majorities even without the backing of those donors that oppose any significant change - IF you represent the will of the people, which is quite literally the only way there is even a tiny chance you could ever improve your system - something you pretend to be in favour of and allegedly only ignore for 'practical' reasons...
that said, i can't help but notice how you automatically resort to textbook conservative and establishment framing like
'poor people just want everything for free', in order to characterise things like universal healthcare and affordable education - which, again, are things that are perfectly normal in every one of america's peer countries. it's so revealing of your way of thinking, and how effective that kind of propaganda, trying to shame social programs as 'handouts' for 'lesser' people, is...
