Just imagine how much he could achieve for the Democratic cause if he was spending this amount of money in support of a skilled politician instead of himself - an out-of-touch 77 year old billionaire without any kind of polish or skill as a politician who's also too liberal on social issues to appeal to Trump voters and too conservative on economic issues to appeal to Democrats.
If the Democratic field had consolidated quickly on a broadly acceptable candidate, and Bloomberg had boosted this candidate with such ferocity, Trump might well have been toast before the race even began.
I generally agree with this thought. They can't and won't though.
I find it fucking HILARIOUS that every single person on that stage (Aside from Comrade) will GLADLY accept all the money Bloomberg would shell out to them, but don't think he should be in the race.
Warren even directly said as much. The party of morals and feeeeeeeeeelingz has no issue tearing that man a (Rightfully deserved) new asshole while attacking his character, but then flipping the shill switch for "Party before individual" saying they'd accept his money - bloody knife still in hand.
or in this case, a tomahawk.
