The theoretical court in our theoretical discussion of course.

Where does Bernie Sanders advocate taking away civil liberties?

I am calling bullshit.

The 90% income tax and a government mandated healthcare/college.

https://www.bernietax.com/#0;0;mj it didn't look like 90% when I punched in numbers for my family.

Is he a communist. Yes or No. How would you argue with someone who disagree with your view. It's rly important for me. Could you persuade me to vote for him? Or should I simply not vote. There are no candidates who are interesting for me except Bernie, but I am not sure if he is too extreme.

He’s in favor of social democracy like Scandinavia rather than actual socialism or communism.

There are probably more millionaires in California alone than the countries you mentioned. Our richest state has a GDP greater than the majority if world powers by itself.
.

On the flip side, you have a shitton of really poor people, and poor people are much worse off in the U.S. than in most of Europe due to your weaker social security system.

https://www.credit-suisse.com/media/assets/corporate/docs/about-us/research/publications/global-wealth-databook-2019.pdf

So going by median wealth per adult, the U.S. ranks in just the 22nd place worldwide, while they would rank 3rd going by mean wealth.

To be fair, the latter surprised me. Didnt think you would rank THAT high up in mean wealth. So while I was technically right in that you arent the wealthiest nation in the world going per capita (Switzerland and Hong Kong have you beat), those numbers confirm the wealth inequality in the U.S. to be absolutely egregious.

ONLY in pard would a shitpost asking to be spoonfed information lead to an earnest discussion (for the 30th time in pard) about whether Sanders is a communist, with limited time offer bonus conversation of what is true communism/socialism.

I bet the mode is much, much lower than $65k as well. I bet it’s $30k or less.

That's probably true for most countries. I would assume that the lowest bin (say "net worth below $10k") is the mode in even the wealthiest countries. Even in Switzerland or Iceland.

To be honest, a 52% income tax on INCOME over 20 million isn't that crazy (married, filed jointly). Also, a 4% flat tax for M4A is actually a really good thing. I can't believe I'm saying this, but his tax proposal is something I can get behind because it taxes EVERYONE. If everyone benefits, everyone should pay.

Seems like I'd lose money with his plan but hopefully my employer would make up the difference.
