Thing is, he's not wrong about how terrible the media/press has become in recent years. Sometimes I feel his presidential victory was merely a "fuck you" from Americans to the collective media.

Trump's problem is how poorly he handles it. He seems to think he's a higher level Reagan and that he can bull-in-a-China-shop his way through any dilemma. His incendiary statements merely strengthen his opponents' resolve, feed them ammunition, and sometimes come back to hit him. In other words, he's kind of an egotistical idiot.

Tbh it wasn't that big of a deal. Yes, Acosta is a major douche, and yes, they blew it out of proportion with their video editing. It's classic political smear shenanigans.
