A few things that seemed weird...
How flattering Trump was being towards Kim. He praised him fervently in person and in subsequent interviews. He claims Kim loves his people, even though he's one of the most brutal dictators on the planet. I think we should always assume what Trump does isn't part of some broad strategy. Maybe Kim stroked his ego in meetings... we all know Trump is easily manipulated... if you say good things about him, he'll say good things about you.
You have to wonder how the North Korean population(at least those who can huddle around a television) see this summit. They've been brainwashed into believing America is the devil... but now there's pictures of Trump smiling next to Kim and saying good things about him.
It looks like Trump made the concession to halt joint military exercises... he even went as far as to say they are provocative. I know it gets said time and time again... but just pretend for a moment Obama was in the same circumstances, and said the same things as Trump. We'd have Republicans going crazy, and Breitbart speculating on whether Obama is a traitor.
As to whether this summit is a victory for Trump... I'm really not sure. This is the very beginning of the process.

Well, President Trump has done something no other US president has ever done.
Haters of this man are going to downplay this historic accomplishment and take credit away from him but the fact that he met with and signed an agreement with North Korea for denuclearization is incredible.
A wise man once told me "There is a time for politics and that should occur during elections, once elections are over, the american people have spoken and the elected official should be allowed to do what he has promised during elections".
Thats what I believe we are seeing with President Trump and I feel he is doing a great job
That's true, although it's not like North Korean leaders didn't want to meet with US presidents in the past.
You have to separate legitimate criticism and skepticism from blatant anti-Trumpism. I'm glad they signed this agreement, but it's just the first step of a very tough process. They agreed on the goal, but beyond that there's no specifics. Hopefully we're able to continue the maximum pressure campaign.
