If Israel were "defending its borders" then why did they switch from low-range rubber bullets to live ammo so they could reach people deep inside the Palestinian border? If Israel can kill Palestinians on the sovereign Palestinian side of the border with impunity, why can't Palestinians do the same to Israelis who march along the border with arms?

In the last 10 years the deathcount stands at 5161 Palestinians and 220 Israelis. Maybe the side with a 23x better kill rate could show restraint?
