I don't care how old you are or what country you're from or where you've been.

We're not talking about immigration or the refugeecrisis.

The USA has been involved in war crimes. This is a fact.

I am not denying that pretty much every European country has been involved in warcrimes and/or genocide at some point in time. That would be stupid. I'm from Belgium. The shit we did in Congo/Rwanda was terrible beyond words.

The same as it would be stupid to say that My Lai (or indeed Dresden) was not a warcrime.

Yeah, it was bad for the US and UK to bomb Dresden. We should have just let Germany win. I mean even a bullet is indecent.
I think I'll stick with reality, and leave the fantasy- war-discussion to the ...er...experts.

Or maybe I should let you talk to my family members, who were in every war since WW1. Or maybe you need to talk to the Brits who lived for years with any metal fencing they could find, over their beds...every night.

I may come across as callous, but I'm really not. I don't like war at all, but I'm realistic enough to understand that war IS hell.

Only watched it once. Didn't really like it and it's obviously fantasy. The actors who played the Comedian and Rorschach, were excellent.
I'm sure there are real life people like the Comedian and Rorschach, but they aren't my heroes.

Nobody is denying Germany commited war crimes. Are you seriously suggesting any of us is arguing this? Just because Germany did heinous shit does not mean that all (edit) action against them is morally justified. Dresden was not morally justified.


For the third time, the USA does not participate in the ICC. So obviously it has never been convicted.
