Just a shame. One of the most depressing things is how many folks still support this white nationalist fact-ambiguous guy.
Not so much that that he is what he is. But that so many really don't care and support him anyways.
How do you raise enlightened, open eyed kids in this environment. A daily struggle in my life.
"Fact-ambiguous" is awfully charitable to Trump." The man appears to lie reflexively. By now it isn't controversial to say we've never seen this level of sustained mendacity in American politics before.
I think you have to raise your children the same way no matter who is president. No parent is responsible for the shortcomings of another random person (or all of us together, collectively). New presidents and new governments can bring new decisions that can radically alter the resources made available for our children, but it'll always be up to us to help them learn values and develop their identity.

He has the charisma of a used tissue. He would lose to Ted Cruz even with all of the Zodiac mass murderer memes going around.
Can't tell if you're talking about Jimmy Woods or Tim Kaine, but I'll assume Kaine since he's the elected. Given that he's
several orders of magnitude closer to what currently passes for the center of our left-right spectrum, you'd have to give a considerable advantage to Kaine in a neutral environment. Cruz would need the type of Black Swan gift that Trump benefited from or at least an extremely-favorable environment; he has literally zero experience campaigning on competitive turf while Kaine comes from one of the most competitive.
