To me I don't trust her any less than I do most of the politicians on both sides. I look for who will help more and destroy less and that's about as far as it goes.

Now that she is the presumptive nominee how do we move forward? Most of can agree Trump is a disaster and will most likely be the worst President we've ever had.

Would a Warren Vp mend fences? I'd like to see more progress with health care, justice reform, and college cost which is where I hope Bernie and the dems eventually kiss and makeup so maybe there is progress over the next 8 years. Would be nice to see some republicans get their shit together and work for a brighter future as well

How do we move forward? We vote for Hillary over Trump, that's how.

You don't trust her any more or less than politicians on both sides but that's your opinion. The majority of Americans do not trust Hillary Clinton. Personally, I don't like her but she is the lesser evil compared to Trump. I'm just explaining to you how most Americans feel based on the available information and trying to debunk arguments that suggest people are really excited for HRC, when in fact she's probably just the better alternative to Trump. Most people do not like Hillary, and in fact, she is historically disliked.

A HRC-Warren would definitely mend fences with the Bernie supporter crowd, but I'm not 100% sure if she will pick her because she doesn't really give her any important geography and their messages on Wall Street/big bank regulation are quite different. There would have to be some compromising of their messages, which I would be thrilled with. If there is any way to move HRC, our next president, left on this issue, I will gladly take it because I think it is critical for Americans.

But Warren is certainly someone Clinton is considering at this point. She might pick her, and I'd be very happy if she did. A HRC-Warren ticket would definitely crush Trump and it would be quite a historic moment. That's an administration I could definitely feel more comfortable getting behind and voting for. Other candidates she is considering are probably Julian Castro and Tim Kaine.

Her picking warren seems unlikely to me for pretty much the same reasons Trump doesn't go good with Christie

too similar in a lot of different ways and having strong aggressive personalities will clash especially with Warren being considerably more progressive

Exactly, I agree. Ideally you pick a VP candidate who gives you something - whether it be geography, strength in a policy area, or an important demographic.

But, HRC could end up picking Warren. She's actually the leading pick in recent Vegas odds, I just checked that. If HRC and her campaign feels as if they've lost a lot of support due to Sanders supporters feeling excluded, she might think she could earn a lot of support back and unify the party moving forward by picking Warren. So her concern could be more in the area of gaining support and favorability (which is the lifeblood of any president to have the leverage push the agenda they want) rather than picking a VP candidate based on who would most help her electability, so to speak.

A sidenote, but man, a Trump-Christie ticket would be such a joke. Basically two bullies with loud mouths. I think Trump will go with Jeff Sessions, Newt Gingrich, Joni Erntst, Bob Corker or someone like them. He needs to unify his more Conservative base. Trump probably doesn't need to add another Northeastern Republican who is very disliked and seen as loud and obnoxious.

He probably should go with Joni Ernst, to be honest. She's a Iowan Senator, Tea Party member, former Lieutenant Colonel in the Army, and the first female veteran to ever serve in the US Senate. It wouldn't make Trump any less sexist if he picked her, but he could gain the perception of being less sexist/anti-woman, and picking a woman VP could help negate some of the criticisms thrown at him from HRC about women. I don't think it would really work but maybe it's worth a shot.

Lying Trump needs to bash Clinton because he's going to be convicted of fraud for his University and his only hope is to play the race card by saying the judge is of Mexican descent, typical Nazi Kraut logic is so funny.

She's a very impressive woman. And she ran a very impressive campaign. 3 years ago when I was getting Terry McAuliffe elected as Governor of Virginia I was dreading this moment, but after seeing her release so many deep policy proposals that touch on things that usually get completely ignored (and release them so much earlier than proposals ever get released) I'm okay with her. She's obviously more than ready to be president.

Who did you vote for in Bush vs Gore?

I wasn't old enough to vote then. I'm not sure who I would have voted for either; I was still working in Republican politics after 2004 but I supported Kerry because Bush was such an abject failure, but I don't know if I would have been able to understand that by November 2000 at such a young age. I'm informed enough now to be able to look back at that campaign and realize he was always going to be a terrible president (even if things would have gone differently and he wouldn't have ended up as a disaster), but there's a chance that had I been voting age, I'd have voted Bush in 2000 before voting Kerry in 2004.

Man I almost hope she wins. Otherwise I'd have no easy targets left.
