Nope, just pointing out he's a terrible businessman compared to generic funds and sitting on his thumbs. Feel free to try to spin that because it hurts your feelers tho.

How does employing thousands while maintaining wealth gains with standard indexes make him a terrible businessman?

We live in a country where most of businesses won't hit their 5 year anniversary.

I mean i hate Trump as much as the next guy but using this same shitty argument over and over is a bit annoying. Is he the best businessman in the US? Not even close. Is he even in the conversation? No. Is he a terrible businessmen because he built a large empire, successfully branded himself, and made as much money as he would have through the markets? No. To suggest that is silly.

99% of people would have run that inheritance into the ground, not made gains equal to the market.

But he lagged significantly behind the market, and his most successful schemes of late were his university that straight up defrauded people and his reality show he got fired from.

He did score popularity and press points going through the try and fail business route

If he somehow manages go get the nomination and miraculously defeats Hilary... arguably worth from his perspective

It's very difficult to keep money. Most businesses fail. Somebody who meets the "market average" is actually well ahead of the average since that doesn't take into account failed businesses.

All sources i've seen show his gains right around market standard. If you have another source I'd be happy to see it.

Pretty sure he walked away from his television show to focus on his presidential run.

The topic of him lagging behind the market is misleading, since so many misleading statements about sizes and times of inheritance have been taken for fact. Even if the average company in the market outperformed Trump, I don't think he'd have the wealth he does now if he was simply a bumbling fool with no knack for business.
